ABOUT

MISSION AND HISTORY
Vision Statement:
Circle of Colors provides emergency shelter, counseling, education, and life-skill training to assist LGBTQ+ youth in navigating toward permanent housing and gainful employment.
Mission Statement:
Circle of Colors is a non-profit organization serving LGBTQ+ youth in the
St. Louis metropolitan region. We provide a safe environment where young people can learn skills to better their chances at living full and independent lives.

HISTORY
The vision and mission of this organization has come from our own Jonathan Colombo. He has experienced homelessness as a young person and overcame the challenges of that situation. He wanted to give back to this community by developing a center where LGBTQ+ youth can feel safe and learn life skills that will set them up for independent living. It took help from friends for Jonathan to get his footing and to be able to stop couch surfing. He now wants to be a friend to those young people needing a boost up. He wants to help them live better lives.
